On October 15, Greenland (Wuhan) Global Commodity Trading Hub Conference and Launching Ceremony was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province.
At the press conference, Chen Gang, deputy director of the Jianghan District Bureau of Commerce, said that Jianghan District is a traditional business and financial center in Wuhan, and the planned positioning of it as a trading hub coincides with the regional industrial and commercial development strategy. Jianghan District will fully support the landing of the trading hub and build it into an important hub for domestic and foreign commodity trade and cultural exchanges. The entry of Greenland (Wuhan) Global Commodity Trading Hub will drive the iterative upgrade of regional industries, and build a new commerce industry chain platform. Based on the opening up and development of China (Hubei) Pilot Free Trade Zone, it will develop an extended platform of experience that complements industries such as urban modern logistics, bonded processing, and cross-border e-commerce, and promote the development of Wuhan Jianghan District and the economic belt along the Yangtze River.
Under the background of China's continuous promotion of opening up and speeding up the construction of a new "dual circulation" development pattern, Greenland Group relies on the opportunities of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) and leverages its advantages in global resource allocation to create a perennial trading service platform for the China International Import Expo - Greenland (Wuhan) Global Commodity Trading Hub. Up to now, the trading hub has attracted 180 companies and organizations from 76 countries and regions, and has contributed to the upstream and downstream transactions exceeding 50 billion yuan. It has become a core carrier for amplifying the spillover effect of the CIIE. Relying on the national layout of the consumption sector, the Greenland (Wuhan) Global Commodity Trading Hub is rapidly advancing nationwide, and has successively landed in Shanghai, Tianjin, Xi'an, Jinan, Zhengzhou, Haikou, Harbin and other places.
