Yueba Village, located in Baichao Township, Lizhou District, Guangyuan City of southwest China's Sichuan Province, is rich in resources with high forest coverage. Whenever the bright moon appears in the sky, it always appears to be the size of a dustpan, for which Yueba Village is considered to be "the closest to the moon".
Yueba Village is 1,400 meters above sea level, and there is also a 12-square-kilometer alpine wetland lake. The water in the wetland is crystal clear, surrounded by lush plants and filled with fertile aquatic plants. The entire lake is like a mirror. Under the sunlight, the calm lake reflects the shadows of the surrounding trees, forming a beautiful landscape with the 4-kilometer wetland plank road, the flowers, and the long pavilion. It is the first choice for leisure.
At the end of October, the Yueba Village is particularly gorgeous, with brilliant purple sage blooming all the way from the foot of the mountain to the Yueba wetland, which is very intoxicating.
On the weekend, when the weather is good, you can pack up and set off to the "place closest to the moon" with your friends. It's recommended to set up camp in the Yueba valley, and enjoy nature in peace.
