On November 3, multi-lingual reporters of CRI Online, renowned overseas vloggers, international friends and students in Shaanxi formed a group of international observers, met each other online and learned about the brand new look of Shaanxi in the "post-Games era". Wang Xiaoyan, Deputy Director-General of Weinan Municipal Sports Bureau, highlighted the good atmosphere of mass fitness and sports in Weinan as well as the development of national fitness programs in the city.

When Weinan competition zone was preparing for the 14th National Games of the PRC, Weinan City promoted integrated management of the Wei River, built a 184-kilometer National Fitness Corridor and 168-kilometer bicycle lanes along the Wei River, as well as added 2.56 million square meters of mass sports venues. Besides, it vigorously enhanced the development of "fitness programs" in the neighborhood, and launched 2,207 sports projects benefitting the people and shared by the people.
In the "post-Games era", Weinan Municipal Sports Bureau will fully promote "the three major ball games," transform independently-developed fitness programs including traditional martial arts into athletic events, and organize characteristic brand games in communities.

On August 26, 2020, General Administration of Sports of China announced that Weinan City was listed among the 40 national sports consumption pilot cities in China. In order to build Weinan into a competitive pilot city of sports consumption, Weinan Municipal Sports Bureau has been working together with Weinan Branch of Bank of China, to further explore new integrated development of "Sports + Internet + Finance", and promote sports programs in Weinan.
In the future, Weinan will continuously support national fitness by building a high-level public service system, injecting great vitality into national fitness.
