Constructing Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, Sichuan Social Science Experts Put Forward Constructive Opinions

Recently, experts from the Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences have conducted in-depth study of the "Master Plan for the Construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle", and put forward many constructive opinions based on their professional fields.

According to Huang Jin, researcher at the Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences, it is necessary to strengthen the integration of public services in Chengdu and Chongqing, consolidate public service resources in the region, and radiate and promote the development of public services in the surrounding areas to better meet the people's needs for a better life.

Jian Li, also a researcher at the Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences, believes that in order to build the region into an international consumption destination with Bashu characteristics, the popularity and  reputation of Bashu consumption must be elevated to better demonstrate the international fashion style of the Chengdu-Chongqing area and the lingering charm of slow life in Bashu.

Li Shengzhi, researcher at the Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences, said that the Chengdu-Chongqing area should jointly strengthen the construction of ecological barriers in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. The Yangtze River Economic Zone spans China's three major regions, namely the east, middle, and west regions. It is an inland river economic belt with global influence. The industrial development and the lives of urban and rural residents in the Chengdu-Chongqing area benefit from the mainstream and tributaries of the Yangtze River.

It is learned that the Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences is the think tank representative in Sichuan Province, which boasts numerous scientific research results and 16 research institutes. The academy focuses on the cultivation and construction of key and strong disciplines, as well as the cultivation and application of compound and high-level talents.
