Cherry blossoms burst forth at the Qinglong Temple in Yanta District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province during the blooming time, and tourists come in an endless stream to have a visual feast.
As one of the famous Buddhist temples built in the Tang Dynasty, Qinglong Temple has introduced several varieties of rare cherry trees from Japan since 1980s. As long as entering the Temple, tourists will find themselves surrounded by a pink ocean, with the cherry tree trunks tall and straight.
Nearly 1,000 cherry trees are planted in the Temple, totaling 12 varieties. From March to April each year, they come marching out and add the spring romance to Yanta District.
