Various sports sculptures have been set up on the lawn or along the streets in Qingbaijiang, Chengdu City, creating a strong atmosphere related to the sports event. The words "Love Chengdu for the Universiade" and the standing sign depicting the mascot "Rongbao" running with the torch at the entrance of the Chengdu-Mianyang Expressway show Chengdu's hospitality towards its friends from all over the world.

There are also eye-catching orange seats and sculptures of cute baby pandas sporting on flower beds in Binfen Shidai Square of Chengdu's Xindu District. In addition to the Universiade elements and the city's characteristics, Xindu District has added more than 100 multifunctional flower boxes and seats around Xiangcheng Sports Center, making the urban space more humanized, ecological and dynamic.
