"Hydrogen is widely used in both traditional industry and daily life," said Wang Yeqin, the chief executive of Ally Hi-tech. He added that hydrogen can be easily found in the aerospace industry and metallurgical industry, as well as in the production of common cooking oil, cakes, shampoo, laundry detergent and other related products.
"When the company was founded in 2000, many companies in Chengdu were already engaged in gas purification. We believed that the hydrogen has a larger added value, so we went deep into hydrogen purification," Wang said.

"Our company focuses on developing markets in the United States, Japan, India and other countries, and now has orders from 19 countries and regions," Wang said, adding that the company has built more than 630 sets of equipment for hydrogen production and hydrogen purification projects all over the world.
According to Wang Yeqin, Sichuan has a good environment for hydrogen energy development. On the one hand, Sichuan has a variety of hydrogen sources, especially abundant renewable energy resources such as hydropower, photovoltaic and wind power; On the other hand, Sichuan's hydrogen energy industry has a good foundation, with a full industrial chain covering hydrogen production, compression, storage and transportation, refueling, fuel cell, vehicle manufacturing, etc.
At the same time, Wang Yeqin spoke highly of the business environment Chengdu High-tech Zone provides for enterprises. As someone traveling among countries and regions, he believes that the openness, transparency and efficiency of enterprise service in Chengdu High-tech Zone are among the best in Western China.
"In the process of the company's development, Chengdu High-tech Zone has given great help to the company in terms of financing, taxation and industrial policies," Wang Yeqin said. He thinks that Chengdu High-tech Zone has provided a good R & D environment for the company. The company exports a large number of products every year, and the tax credit of R & D expenses helps boost the innovation impetus of the enterprise.
Now, under the guidance of the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, following the rapid development of new energy such as solar energy and wind energy, hydrogen energy, as a clean and efficient new energy, has also ushered in a new trend of development. Wang Yeqin said that the company will seize the opportunity, and is expected to go public in about five years.
