International Explainers: Telling Weinan's Stories and Spreading Weinan's Voice

On May 31, Weinan, Shaanxi Province witnessed the launch of the event "International Explainers: Embracing the Yellow River Culture and Revealing Colorful Weinan".

This event showed the socio-economic development and changes of Weinan in recent years, not only facilitating the well sharing of Weinan's stories and the presentation of the city's image to the outside world but also allowing foreign friends to learn more about China and strengthening the exchange and mutual learning of different civilizations.

During the event, the Publicity Department of CPC Weinan Municipal Committee and Chang'an University signed a think tank strategic cooperation agreement. Weinan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, International Education School of Chang'an University and Shaanxi Channel of CRI Online signed a memorandum of understanding for "International Explainers" to present a splendid and colorful Weinan. In addition, the event also unveiled the "Experience China" Internship and Practice Base for international students at Chang'an University.

During the event, 20 international students from 17 countries formed the exclusive team of "International Explainers" for Weinan, focusing on the characteristic cultural heritage items and products including Linwei grass weaving, Huazhou shadow play, Chengcheng Yaotou Kiln, Chengcheng cherries, etc., to tell Weinan's stories and spread Weinan's voice.
