On the evening of July 4th, international students from Sichuan Normal University, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chengdu Sport University, West China Normal University, and North Sichuan Medical College set foot on their first stop of the "Belt and Road · In Love with the Capital of Silk - Study Tour of Silk Road Youths Exploring Nanchong City" activity in cool summer night breeze - a night tour on Jialing River, to feel the charm of Nanchong City with beautiful landscapes against the picturesque night scene under the neon lights.

As the group boarded the cruise ship named "Impression of Jialing River", the city landscape of Nanchong revealed and the cultural stories of the Jialing River unfolded gently during the 1.5-hour night tour. The study tour tutor introduced the schedule and  discipline of the study tour to the group, and divided the students from five schools into different groups named after features of local culture and tourism, namely "Giant Puppet Group", "Silk Capital Group", "Liuhe Silk Expo Group", "Jialing River Group" and "Langzhong Ancient City Group".

In the "Icebreaker" exchange session called "Remember me", the Silk Road youths played a game where they exchanged name cards, quickly broke the ice in a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere, and deepened mutual understanding. Teachers and students who successfully completed the game also received a small gift, a panda doll from Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
