Launch Ceremony of Online International Communication Event Kicks off in Jinan, Embracing the Yellow River Culture in Shandong Province

On the morning of August 30, co-sponsored by CRI Online of China Media Group and Cyberspace Administration of Shandong, the launch ceremony for the online international communication event Daka China 2022 - Exploring Magnificent Landmarks in China · Hello, Shandong! was held at the square of Chaoran Pavilion at the World's Best Spring Scenic Area, Jinan. Once again, a wonderful journey for Daka China 2022 experiencing Yellow River culture kicked off.

Daka China 2022 is co-organized by CRI Online of China Media Group and the cyberspace administrations of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hubei, Jiangsu, Heilongjiang, Shanxi, Anhui, Shandong, and other provinces and regions. It focuses on the topics of "Yellow River Culture", "Yangtze River Culture", "Grand Canal Culture", "Ice and Snow Culture" and "Ethnic Culture" and selected a number of cultural landmarks with uniqueness in the local area and with differentiation between China and foreign countries as destinations of offline journeys, hoping to show the world unique and brilliant Chinese culture, and promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning of civilizations.

During the fifth stop of the series activities of Daka China 2022 - Exploring Magnificent Landmarks in China, participants will visit Jinan, Zibo, and other destinations to showcase the magnificent scenery and profound cultural heritage of the Shandong section of the Yellow River. By telling the stories of Shandong well, it aims to introduce Shandong culture further to the whole world.

During the later four-day trip, foreign vloggers will visit Daming Lake, Baotu Spring, Chengziya Relics Museum, Longshan Black Pottery History and Research Museum, and Zhoucun Gushangcheng. Meanwhile, they will try commercial port-styled delicacies and watch ancient Chinese football games. Additionally, foreign vloggers will experience the inheritance of culture and history and the features of urban development in modern times in Jinan and Zibo in person.
