David Ferguson, Honorary Chief English Editor of Foreign Languages Press, comes from the UK.

Since 2010, David Ferguson has engaged in translating many significant books and government white papers. At the same time, he edited the English version of four volumes of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China. Given his great contribution to China's cultural exchanges with foreign countries, David Ferguson was granted the Chinese Government Friendship Award in 2021.

"I wanted to be a journalist who told the truth", David Ferguson, who has been living in China for almost 16 years, said in the interview and he hopes to present real China to the world with his efforts in response to inaccurate and unreal news about China written by Western media.
