Sichuan and Zhejiang Jointly Promote the New Future of Industrial Cooperation

Recently, Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation and Zhejiang Provincial Working Group in Sichuan jointly organized a video conference to promote industrial cooperation and park co-construction.

The meeting announced the situation of Sichuan and Zhejiang industrial cooperation. Under the background of cooperation between the East and west of China, the industrial interaction and cooperation between Sichuan and Zhejiang provinces have been continuously deepened and achieved fruitful results. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Zhejiang enterprises invested nearly CNY 370 billion in Sichuan, and a large number of key enterprises and high-quality projects settled in Sichuan. In 2021, the Sichuan provincial platforms signed a total of 178 investment projects of Zhejiang enterprises, with a contract amount of CNY 131 billion. Sichuan and Zhejiang provinces have given full play to Zhejiang's industrial advantages and Sichuan's resource advantages, and jointly built more than 60 cooperation parks such as Yibin Zhejiang-Sichuan Textile Industry Cooperation Demonstration Park and Guangyuan Sichuan-Zhejiang Cooperative Industrial Park, creating precise carrying platforms for the industrial transfer of Zhejiang.

Hui Chaoxu, director of the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation, said that the cooperation between the east and the west is a major strategy for the country to promote coordinated and common development among regions. After years of cooperation between Sichuan and Zhejiang provinces, with deep industrial integration and efficient joint construction of the parks, enterprises in Zhejiang have continued to expand their investment in Sichuan, which provides strong support for promoting industrial transformation and upgrading in Sichuan and promoting high-quality economic development.
