Khaled Mesmar, who comes from Yemen, is the General Manager of the Saudi Arabia Marketing Area of Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile Import & Export Co., Ltd. Since he came to China in 1994, Khaled has studied, worked and started a family here. He has been developing in China and witnessing the development of China.

"Both urban and rural areas are moving forward. In the past, Chinese people lived in hardship. But now life is getting much better." Khaled believes that in every perspective, "China has done an awesome job."

As a Yemeni, Khaled spoke highly of China's help to countries along the Belt and Road. "I think China understands the difficulties faced by the countries along the Belt and Road. When some places need help, China is always the first to lend a hand."
