Since its launch, the contest has received extensive attention and support from the public, including foreigners working and living in Beijing and institutions and media in the city. As of November 10, more than 160 excellent videos from different organizations and individuals had been received. These videos are well-produced and unique: some are full of lively youthful energy, some are filled with the fragrance of history, some are like cheerful minuets, and some, like prose poems, feature a pleasing and leisure atmosphere. Specifically, some of the videos show Beijing's international living environment and high-level infrastructure, some focus on the pleasant journey of foreigners living, working, and chasing dreams in Beijing, some look back on the unparalleled Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and some tell beautiful stories of common efforts to build international exchanges platforms, mutual assistance and cooperation. All aspects of Beijing, a vivid and lively global city, are presented through the lens.
Zhang Zhizhou, Professor of Beijing Foreign Studies University, remarks on award-wining works.
After expert review, two videos, namely "Dream in Beijing" and "Seeing Beijing from All Angles", won the first prize, five videos including "Home Away from Home" won the second prize, 10 videos including "My Hometown Is Where I Find My Peace of Mind" won the third prize, and 20 videos including "Twelve Chinese Zodiac Hours of Beijing" won the Outstanding Individual Award.
