'Shaanxi' Shines in Her World—'Women from Belt and Road Countries Share Views on Girl Power' Salon-style Seminar Takes Place

On July 26, the "Shaanxi" Shines in Her World—"Women from Belt and Road Countries Share Views on Girl Power" Salon-style Seminar was successfully held. The event was organized by CRI Online Shaanxi Channel and sponsored by the Shaanxi Women's Federation, the Cyberspace Administration of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee, and CRI Online of China Media Group.

Female representatives from various domains in countries, including Botswana, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Pakistan, Russia, the Republic of Sudan, and Uzbekistan visited Shaanxi Province. Their purpose was to participate in discussions centered around "her world", share "her stories", and strengthen "her strength".

The event witnessed the participation of esteemed guests, including Yang Le and Li Jing, Vice Chairpersons of Shaanxi Women's Federation; Wang Chuang, Second-class Inspector from the Cyberspace Administration of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee; Shi Jia, General Manager of CRI Online Shaanxi Branch; and Zhang Yae, Deputy President of Yisu Theater in Xi'an. The seminar was presided over by Guo Xudong, a bilingual host from Shaanxi TV Station.

During her speech, Yang Le, Vice Chairperson of Shaanxi Women's Federation emphasized the crucial role of women in driving the development of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). She highlighted their integral contribution to facilitating people-to-people bonds, nurturing cultural exchanges, and promoting economic and trade cooperation. With the seminar as a platform, the Shaanxi Women's Federation endeavors to continually enhance women's exchanges and advancements in the Belt and Road countries and regions. The federation aims to establish and effectively utilize a communication platform to promote women's development and contribute to a bright future for all.

Following the sharing session, appointment letters of "International Observer" were given to female foreign guests who were present at the event.
