During the event, international students visited Xueyu Cave, known as one of China's most beautiful tourist caves, were immersed in spectacular stalactite formations shaped over billions of years. They also challenged the high-altitude glass walkway at the Jiuchongtian Scenic Area, enjoying breathtaking views of the Longhe River canyon from above. In addition, the students participated in a public fitness walking event, collecting blessings stamps along the route, sampling local intangible cultural heritage cuisine, and experiencing traditional New Year welcoming customs. At the Mingshan Scenic Area—renowned as the "Hometown of Eastern Divine Music"—they learned about folk legends that emphasize justice and moral values, while sharing mythological stories from their own countries, engaging in meaningful cultural dialogue. Throughout this visit, the young participants shared in real-time through social media, conveying the beauty of Fengdu's mountains and rivers and the charm of its culture to audiences across the Lancang-Mekong region.
Serving as a bridge through culture and tourism, the event strengthened friendship among young people from the Lancang-Mekong countries and injected youthful vitality into Chongqing's efforts to build a world-renowned cultural tourism destination.
