With the Spring Festival just around the corner, Beijing's municipal parks, the China National Botanical Garden, and the Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture have prepared a total of 76 public activities, according to the Beijing Municipal Administration of Parks.

These parks have been decorated with nearly 20,000 lanterns, 1,500 colorful flags, and 600 Spring Festival couplets to create a festive atmosphere.

Beihai Park, Zhongshan Park, Jingshan Park, China National Botanical Garden, Beijing Zoo and some other parks have arranged Spring Festival-themed displays, seamlessly blending traditional Chinese culture with garden landscapes.

Folk custom activities will be featured in many parks during the Spring Festival. Fragrant Hills Park will ring the bells of its two temples during the festival to extend blessings to visitors.

The China National Botanical Garden will also hold activities such as lantern riddles, giving couplets and making lanterns at its southeast gate gift shop for visitors to enjoy.

In addition to the various physical activities, several parks have harnessed modern technology to offer a variety of online activities during the holiday. Zizhuyuan Park will launch online live streaming to popularize folk culture. The park will also issue specially designed tickets to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit and the Spring Festival.

There will also be flower shows and winter sports-themed activities in some parks.
