'Charming Beijing' TV Series Explores Metaverse in Shougang Park

In 2022, the "Charming Beijing" TV series, the overseas publicity event invited teams from Italy, the Republic of Korea, and Croatia to visit Beijing for interviews and video production, aiming to present the diverse charm of Beijing, the Dual Olympic City through different perspectives. The "30 Years of Friendship for a Shared Future", one part of the "Charming Beijing" TV Series produced by production teams from both China and the Republic of Korea was completed recently. Consisting of three episodes, namely "Exploring Metaverse in Shougang Park", "Digital Technology Makes National Treasures Vibrant", and "A Journey to Zhongguancun Software Park to Feel the Vibrant Scientific and Technological Innovation in Beijing", the program focuses on the development of technological innovation in Beijing to demonstrate brand new achievements of the advancement of International Center for Science & Technology Innovation in the city.

In the episode of "Exploring Metaverse in Shougang Park", Kim Junbum, the host from the Republic of Korea in the TV series and Chairman of Beijing Hanbandao Technology Co., Ltd. visited the Metaverse Information Center in Shougang Park to experience technologies such as digital twin, XR video filming, motion capture, image tracking, real-time rendering, and digital humans and better understand new shocks to our sense organs brought by digital technologies, including the high-precision image position sensing and naked-eye 3D exhibitions on-site.
