Ruoergai County is located in the north of Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, with an average elevation of 3500 meters. Here, you can see all kinds of birds flying in the sky and rare plants thriving in the wetland.

The superior ecological environment endows Ruoergai County with rich wild animal and plant resources. Tie bu Sika deer, Black-necked crane and other rare species live here, and Chinese caterpillar fungus, circaeaster agrestis, M.punicea, and other national key protected plants grow here.

In recent years, Ruoergai County has deeply explored the four cultures of the Yellow River, the Long March, nomadism, and farming, explored new tourism formats such as "Xingkong Pasture", "Eggshell Camp", "Eye of Flower Lake" RV self-driving travel camps, and cultivated more than 300 hotels and homestays. As of 2022, the county has received 2.232 million tourists and achieved a tourism revenue of 1.62 billion CNY.
