2023 China (Zibo) International Ceramic Art and Culture Exchange Week Kicks Off in Zibo

Recently, the 2023 China (Zibo) International Ceramic Art and Culture Exchange Week was held at the Li Ziyuan Art Center in Zichuan District of Zibo City, attracting a number of ceramic art masters from home and abroad.

During the 14-day event, more than 30 domestic and foreign ceramists from 11 countries, including Brazil, Denmark, Ireland, and South Korea, made in-depth discussions and exchanges on ceramic creation, firing techniques, and the development of ceramic art.

Ceramic art seminars and international ceramic exhibitions were also held. Ceramists carved and created ceramics on site, and demonstrated the latest development trends of ceramic art.

Zichuan District, as one of the main ceramic production areas in Zibo City, is known for its favorable industrial foundation and profound cultural heritage. Ceramic artists there have, through the ages, created on the heritage of traditional culture. Plenty of excellent ceramic art works have fully showcased the sophisticated craftsmanship and artistic attainments in modern Chinese ceramic circle.
