Over the past few years, State Grid East Inner Mongolia Electric Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") has seized the opportunity of digital transformation to drive a comprehensive shift towards digitalization across all aspects of power grid production, operation management, customer service, etc. This has enhanced its capacity to implement new technologies.
The Company has introduced nine artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to improve 17 types of typical lines as well as labels and layouts, which greatly enhanced work quality and efficiency, achieved full awareness of grid energy data flow status, and upgraded the smart operation of digital grids.
The Company has built intelligent application scenarios for paperless accounting files, and has successively deployed AI application scenarios such as end-to-end archiving, electronic file collection of layout documents, and automatic collection of bank receipts and statements to minimize the workload of printing and binding vouchers for financial and accounting personnel and reduce financial reporting and archiving costs. Practices prove that it only takes one hour to process about 7,000 vouchers with an accuracy rate of 100 percent, marking a 30-fold increase in efficiency compared with the manual mode.
To solve the communication challenges in the electricity consumption information collection system, the Company has adopted a combination of independent research and development, collaboration and other approaches to apply the Beidou-3 Navigation Satellite System to the information collection terminal for electricity consumption. This has significantly improved the data collection success rate and accuracy rate.
