In 2021, the State Council formulated and issued the tourism development plan during the 14th Five-Year period, proposing to encourage the development of industrial tourism based on industrial production sites, production techniques and industrial heritages, and to build a number of national industrial tourism demonstration bases.
For more than two years, Jungar Banner has facilitated industrial tourism in accordance with the concept of regional tourism, and has created industrial tourism routes focusing on characteristic attractions such as Jungar Energy Ecological Tourism Zone, Dalu Industrial Park, and Ceramic Town, in a bid to demonstrate the regional industrial culture. In the next step, Jungar Banner will adhere to ecological priority and green development, enhance industrial tourism to add luster to high-quality development, and embark on a new journey of industrial tourism.
