Photos | China U-19 Men's Football Team Claims the Championship by Beating South Korea

On June 10, the CFA Team China Silk Road · Hua Shan Cup International Friendly Competitions Weinan 2024 came to a successful conclusion. The tournament featured intense competition among China, Vietnam, South Korea, and Uzbekistan U-19 national men's football teams, with a total of six matches over three days. Ultimately, China's U-19 team emerged as the champion with two wins and one draw.

Uzbekistan and South Korea claimed second and third place, respectively, while Vietnam received the "Memorial Trophy." 

"This victory is significant, especially for the China U-19 men's football team. This is their first championship for many of the players. It has been a fantastic experience, and I am proud of them," said China head coach Dejan Djurdjevic at the post-match press conference, "But our original intention remains unchanged. The journey ahead is still long. I will continue to observe our players' performance at the club and build a stronger Chinese football team through future training camps."

The tournament was hosted by the Chinese Football Association, the Shaanxi Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Weinan Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Shaanxi Football Association, Weinan Municipal Sports Bureau, and Shaanxi Provincial Sports Industry Group Co., Ltd., with support from Weinan Football Association.
