China State Grid Juxian, Rizhao Branch: Promoting Rural Green Development via "Photovoltaic +" Services

In 2022 and 2023, Lingyangjie Village in Juxian County, Rizhao City, Shandong Province was successively honored as the "Livable Village in Shandong Province", "National Demonstration Village for Environmental Improvement" and "China's Most Beautiful Leisure Village". These results were achieved thanks to the green development concept of State Grid Juxian County Power Supply Company (hereinafter referred to as “State Grid Juxian Branch”), who advanced rural green development through the "photovoltaic +" scenario application.

Based on local conditions, State Grid Juxian Branch explored the "photovoltaic +" comprehensive development model, such as the "photovoltaic + green village" and "photovoltaic + green factory" models tailored for the local area. A total of 140,000 square meters/13.94 MW of distributed photovoltaics have been built on the roofs of 248 households and factory buildings in Lingyangjie Village.

State Grid Juxian Branch promoted income growth depending on diversified electrification construction methods, and developed models of "photovoltaic + logistics park" and "photovoltaic + osmanthus garden" , thus greatly upgrading the electrification and driving economic growth in rural areas. In addition, the company also actively followed up on the rural power grid consolidation and improvement project, offered photovoltaic smart operation and maintenance services, and improved the transparency of daily operation and maintenance through environmental monitoring, video surveillance, drone inspections and other means.

State Grid Juxian Branch brought rural revitalization to a higher level via "photovoltaic +" services, continuously optimized the living environment, and created new drivers for the green development in building beautiful villages.
