On that day, the staff of State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company fully implemented a comprehensive inspection of the power distribution cabinets, metering devices, logistics conveyor belts and other power-consuming equipment in Jinhua City Zhezhong Public Railway Intermodal Port Co., Ltd., investigated potential equipment hazards, and promptly informed users to carry out defect elimination to ensure the safe and stable operation of power equipment and provide sufficient power supply and support for the development of the train. In addition, during the inspection process, the staff of State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company also provided guidance on the construction planning of the second phase project and further explained the precautions in power usage for work based on the actual situation on site.
In recent years, Zhejiang, China has accelerated the construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative" relying on the rail-sea intermodal transport model. Through the opening of the Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe China Railway Express and the "Jinhua - Ningbo Zhoushan Port" route, a new pattern of inland opening-up has been constructed. It is reported that in the first half of 2024, China's total import and export volume with the countries jointly building the "Belt and Road Initiative" increased by 7.2% year-on-year. As of June 30, the Jindong platform of the China Railway Express has operated 265 trains, with over 28,000 TEUs dispatched, increasing by 38.5% year-on-year. The number of rail-sea intermodal trains arriving and departing reached 692, with over 56,000 TEUs, increasing by 57.88% year-on-year.
