Maersk, a globally renowned container shipping company, operates over 700 container ships and more than 1.5 million containers. With a worldwide network of routes, Maersk offers a range of transportation and logistics services. With Huai'an Port officially integrated into Maersk's global network, cargo from Huai'an and surrounding foreign trade enterprises can now use Maersk containers for customs clearance and shipment from Huai'an Port. Through Maersk’s global routes, cargo can seamlessly connect to international ports around the world.

At the same time, the closer cooperation between Huai'an Port and Maersk Shipping has achieved organic connectivity between inland waterways and ocean routes. This collaboration leverages the advantages of river-sea combined transport, such as low energy consumption, minimal pollution, and high capacity. It will expand business scope, enhance service capabilities, and accelerate the development of a green and high-quality inland waterway transport sector.
