Bath Hosts “China, An Opportunity: Charming Jinan” Promotion Event

       “This event has sparked my desire to visit Jinan, China. I will plan a trip to Jinan and China as soon as possible,” said an excited guest at the recent “China, An Opportunity: Charming Jinan” promotion event.

　　This Jinan-focused promotion event was held in Bath, a renowned tourist city in the UK, famous for its hot springs, just as Jinan is celebrated in China for its spring water. These two famous cities, Bath and Jinan, have formed a bond through their shared connection to springs and have long been sister cities.

　　Spring water is Jinan’s most distinctive urban feature and its most dazzling city emblem, playing an indispensable role in Jinan's culture.

　　In addition to spring water culture, Shandong Province, where Jinan is located, is a region in China that places great emphasis on etiquette. Shandong’s rich history and cultural spirit are also major attractions of the area.

　　This event was hosted by the Information Office of Jinan Municipal People’s Government and is part of a series of exchange activities between Jinan and its overseas sister cities. The event vividly showcased the scenic charm of the City of Springs, highlighted Jinan’s cultural achievements, and provided strong support for Jinan’s journey onto the global stage and the enhancement of its urban soft power.
