On September 26, 2024, the inaugural ceremony for the Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-Speed Railway's "Poetic and Picturesque Tonglu" themed train took place at Wenzhounan Railway Station, alongside a press conference for the "Fun in Tonglu: Freshwater Fish Carnival" National Day festive activity series.

At the inaugural ceremony, the high-speed train with the logo "Poetic and Picturesque Tonglu" was officially unveiled.
The Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-Speed Railway, which successfully commenced operations on September 6, has not only shortened travel times between Tonglu and Wenzhou but also effectively connected the rich cultural and tourism resources along the route. This has created a fast tourism network, injecting new vitality into the development of the county's cultural and tourism industry.

Tonglu, a national-level integrated tourism demonstration area, boasts 26 scenic attractions, 18 village scenic spots, and a diverse array of tourism offerings. "Tonglu caters to all needs, from water activities, sports and leisure, cultural tours, family-friendly entertainment to rural vacations," said Fang Jiyu, Director of the Cultural, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports Bureau of Tonglu County at the promotion meeting, warmly inviting citizens and tourists present.
The "Fun in Tonglu: Freshwater Fish Carnival" National Day festive activity series were also announced on-site. During the National Day holiday, Tonglu will launch the seven-day freshwater fish carnival, ten-day of fun market, hundreds of cultural, artistic and sports events, and related promotional activities to provide tourists with a new travel experience.
