Recently, staff from the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company visited the Qifeng Mountain Ecological Tourism Area in Fangcheng County, Nanyang City, Henan Province. They conducted inspections of electrical equipment used in public places such as agritainment venues and shops along the street to identify and address potential safety hazards, thereby ensuring safe and reliable electricity supply for the scenic area.
The Qifeng Mountain Ecological Tourism Area covers an area of about 40 square kilometers. This scenic area is home to famous attractions such as the Great Wall of the Chu State, Qifeng Snowscape, and Quanyan Waterfall, attracting tourists from all directions to visit and play.
To boost the rapid development of the cultural tourism industry, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company proactively engaged with relevant personnel in the scenic area. The Company organized staff to focus on inspecting and maintaining the electrical facilities at tourist spots and related service venues. Considering the actual conditions of power lines in the scenic area, they inspected the electrical lines and equipment. Meanwhile, they also evaluated the electricity usage in crowded places such as attractions, hotels, and restaurants to address any safety hazards promptly. Furthermore, the Company issued power supply service cards to related departments and shops within the scenic area and established a one-on-one service mechanism to resolve customers’ electricity issues at any time. Additionally, staff from the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company educated workers in the scenic area and shops along the streets about safe electricity use, to foster a healthy and harmonious environment for electricity consumption.
During the National Day holiday in 2024, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company went all out to meet the electricity demands within its service area. The Company increased the number of on-duty staff and ensured that its emergency repair teams were available day and night, ready to respond to any unforeseen incidents, thereby providing comprehensive electrical support for the development of the tourism industry.
