Recently, the 32nd National Book Expo was held in Jinan, East China’s Shandong Province. During the Expo, the Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center, the main venue, became an ocean of books. Among the crowds of visitors and readers, young people made up a significant portion.

Fu Libao, a graduate student from China Agricultural University who is currently interning in Jinan, took advantage of the weekend to visit the long-anticipated book expo. He believes that the book fair is a great opportunity to broaden one’s horizons. Not only can he access current bestsellers, but also meet fellow book lovers and learn a lot of new knowledge. This year, he noticed many publishers added cultural and creative products, which she found particularly meaningful.
Du Xingping, a translator and literature enthusiast born in the 1990s, described the Book Expo as bustling and filled with a dazzling array of books.
Reading still holds strong appeal for young people. The Book Expo, as an energetic platform, meets with the vibrant enthusiasm of youth. This is one of the most charming aspects of the Book Expo.
