State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company extends its services to villages and households to ensure safe electricity use

　　As temperatures continue to decline, high-power heating appliances such as electric blankets and heaters will be put into use. To ensure the safe and reliable use of electricity, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company recently organized 14 community-level power supply stations in Xiangcheng County, Xuchang City, Henan Province, to conduct a door-to-door event promoting safe electricity usage.

　　During the event, staff from power supply stations divided themselves into teams to thoroughly inspect each transformer district within their service range. They meticulously examined distribution rooms, transformers, and other high and low-voltage line equipment, as well as electrical lines and facilities in public areas. Their primary goal was to eliminate any potential safety hazards and ensure a reliable and safe power supply. Besides, the staff also actively guided villagers on how to safely inspect and protect their household electrical appliances.

　　Special attention was given to vulnerable groups by creating detailed service logs for household visits. Moreover, they gained a detailed understanding of household electrical loads, helping to promptly correct unsafe practices such as unauthorized connections and aging wiring. Additionally, they distributed brochures and provided information on safe electricity usage and first aid for electric shock, further enhancing the villagers’ awareness of safe electricity practices.

　　Up to now, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has distributed over 1,000 safety electricity usage brochures in Xiangcheng County and eliminated 13 potential safety hazards, creating a favorable environment for safe electricity usage.
