State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company supports a bumper chrysanthemum harvest

　　Recently, staff from State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company visited the Golden Silk Chrysanthemum planting base in Peizhuang Village, Yanling County, Xuchang City, Henan Province. They went into the fields and processing workshops to promote safe electricity use, inspect drying and lighting equipment, and offer tailored service and power support for chrysanthemum production.

　　In early May 2024, the Peizhuang Village Cooperative expanded its production scale, adding 2 new Golden Silk Chrysanthemum drying machines and 1 gift box processing production line. Zhang Weifeng, the head of the Cooperative, submitted an application for additional electricity use to State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company. On May 9, after receiving the capacity expansion application, the Company immediately organized professional personnel to conduct an on-site inspection and evaluation. They installed a new 200 kVA distribution transformer and laid 1.2 kilometers of new 10kV power lines for this village. After active preparation and implementation, on July 20, the newly added distribution transformer in Peizhuang Village Cooperative was officially powered on. The newly installed drying equipment and production lines were successfully put into operation after passing testing.

　　The State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has refined its service by regularly visiting villages to inspect electrical equipment and promptly eliminate safety hazards. Their thoughtful service has provided strong electrical support for the economic development of Peizhuang Village. Since the establishment of a cold storage facility, the Golden Silk Chrysanthemum, which could previously only be sold for one season, is now available year-round. Farmers not only receive substantial dividends but also gain local employment opportunities, increasing their sense of well-being.
