On November 27, staff members from the Yandong Power Supply Station of the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company visited the Yellow River Chengni Inkstone Inheritance Base located in Cangtou New Village, Zhaoxian Township, Wenxian County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. They conducted professional inspections and maintenance of the electrical wiring and equipment in the Chengni Inkstone Museum, production workshop, firing workshop, exhibition hall, and multimedia classroom.
They provided knowledge of winter electricity safety and suggestions on scientific electricity usage for workers at the base. In addition, when they learned that site renovations and expansions were underway, the staff visited the construction site to offer professional electrical guidance and recommendations, ensuring full compliance with safe electricity standards.
As one of China’s Four Famous Inkstones, the Yellow River Chengni Inkstone has a history of nearly two thousand years. Today, its production depends heavily on a stable and reliable power supply to ensure some essential conditions such as adequate lighting and constant temperature and humidity.
