On November 27, staff members from the Jiangguanchi Power Supply Station of the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company visited Qiuhu Village, Jiangguanchi Town, Jian’an District, Xuchang City, Henan Province for on-site inspection of electric heating equipment. Villager Xu Yafeng told Feng Guoting, manager of the Jiangguanchi Power Supply Station, “Electric heating is much better than burning coal. It’s convenient and hygienic, and we can enjoy time-of-use electricity rates. Your service is also very thoughtful.”
As temperatures gradually drop, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has strengthened city-county coordination, fully enhanced special inspections and maintenance of equipment, and actively conducted visits to assess customers’ electricity needs, ensuring safe and reliable power supply for clean heating.
The Company organized its city and county-level maintenance personnel to strengthen the inspection of potential safety hazards in key power supply facilities. They enhanced special equipment inspections and infrared thermography, with a focus on monitoring electricity usage in rural areas and suburban regions, as well as in key substations. The Company also promptly adjusted the electrical load of overloaded equipment and addressed equipment defects and hazards to fully meet customers’ heating electricity needs in winter.
In addition, the Company proactively conducted safety electricity inspections for customers, offering guidance to rectify potential hazards. They carried out safety electricity education campaigns, distributing safety electricity brochures and other promotional materials to customers to promote scientific and safe electricity usage.
