On December 3, in Qicun Village, Xiaojing Town, Boai County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, rows of vegetable greenhouses were thriving with cucumbers, eggplants, tomatoes, and other crops. While farmers busily harvested their produce, staff from the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company conducted voluntary inspections to identify potential electrical hazards inside the greenhouses.

Xiaojing Town has a vegetable cultivation area of 35,000 mu (approximately 2,333 hectares), including 251 semi-underground solar greenhouses, 2,500 solar greenhouses, and 10,000 large and small arch greenhouses. Currently, to address the impact of low temperatures on vegetables, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company is closely monitoring the electricity needs of farmers. The company has organized personnel to conduct comprehensive inspections of power lines and equipment in greenhouse areas, addressing hazards such as plastic sheeting and tree branches contacting the lines. Service teams have been dispatched to greenhouse areas to understand farmers' new electricity demands, resolve power-related issues, promptly handle unexpected power failures, and provide safety guidance for electricity use in the greenhouses.
In recent years, Jiaozuo City has actively encouraged its towns and villages to leverage their resource advantages and vigorously develop specialty industries such as winter jujubes, peaches, grapes, cherries, and vegetables. These efforts have increased villagers' incomes, enriched rural beauty, strengthened agriculture, and make farmers become wealthier.
The State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company closely aligns its service with the electricity needs of rural specialty industries. By accelerating the construction of distribution network projects and strengthening network infrastructure, the company integrates power supply services into the entire value chain of specialty industry planting, processing, storage, and sales. This approach supports the growth and strengthening of these industries, contributing to rural revitalization.
