The 2024 Anhui Straw&Livestock And Poultry Breeding Waste Comprehensive Utilization Industry Expo Opens

　　The 2024 Anhui Straw&Livestock And Poultry Breeding Waste Comprehensive Utilization Industry Expo opened on December 20. The event is jointly organized by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Anhui Province, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Anhui Province, the Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Hefei Municipal People's Government. With the theme of "Resource Utilization and Industrial Development," the Expo has attracted numerous industry professionals, experts, and scholars.

　　Since 2017, the Straw Expo has evolved into a prominent exhibition brand characterized by its unique Anhui features, large scale, and significant influence. This Expo features three main sections: The first section is the exhibition of achievements in "Anhui Straw&Livestock And Poultry Breeding Waste Comprehensive Utilization Industry Expo" and ecological environmental protection industry, spotlighting significant innovative accomplishments such as biogas purification and liquefaction, carbon capture and storage techniques, thermal cracking of livestock and poultry waste to produce organic fertilizer, and high-purity polylactic acid production through straw cellulose polymerization. The second section includes exhibition areas from 16 cities, showcasing concrete practices and success stories in the comprehensive utilization of straw and livestock and poultry waste. The third section is dedicated to the "Anhui Straw&Livestock And Poultry Breeding Waste Comprehensive Utilization Industry Expo" equipment and technology exhibition, presenting the latest related equipment and technology. 

　　During the Expo, four major activities will be held: a national on-site exchange on the comprehensive utilization of straw, a national forum on the high-value utilization of biogas and biomass natural gas, a national summit of the industrial alliance for the comprehensive utilization of straw and livestock waste, and a project promotion and signing ceremony. 

　　During the Expo, provinces like Jilin, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang have also arranged for local organizations and enterprises to come to Anhui for exchanges and investment promotions, thereby further enhancing the Expo's influence and reach. Currently, a preliminary assessment has identified 128 potential projects for signing at this Expo, with investments surpassing RMB 18 billion.
