At the 27°N Golden Belt for Tea Production, the ecological tea gardens in Jiangkou County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province are cultivating the globally renowned “Guizhou Green”. Alongside modern factory buildings, they present a picture of industrial aesthetics.

In recent years, leveraging its unique natural endowments and technological innovation, Tongren City has successfully built the regional public brand “Fanjing Matcha”, earning titles including “China’s Matcha Capital” and “China’s High-Quality Matcha Base.” Jiangkou County has also established the world’s largest single matcha refinement workshop.

In the first quarter of 2025, the export volume of “Fanjing Matcha” reached nearly 100 tons. A three-dimensional marketing network has taken shape across more than 30 major cities and 6 core economic zones in China, with products exported to over 40 countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, the United States, and Canada.

From rows of tea trees to cups of fragrant matcha, and from traditional craftsmanship to innovative “matcha+” breakthroughs, the region is reconstructing the value chain of the matcha industry through the industrial concept of “intelligent matcha manufacturing.” With the ambition of becoming a “global matcha super factory,” it is infusing the mellow aroma of Chinese matcha into cups around the world — presenting a tea-scented Chinese name card to the world.
