After official verification, Guinness World Records confirmed the success of "the world's largest badminton dance."

The badminton dance, choreographed by the professional team of the Nansha Badminton Association, integrated the athletic spirit of the Greater Bay Area and the distinctive features of badminton. Set to the songs "Strike the Key" and "Together for a Shared Future," the dance incorporated technical moves, physical training, and teamwork elements, quickly gaining popularity among sports enthusiasts upon its release.

This event was held against the backdrop of the newly recognized "Eight Scenic Views of Guangzhou 2025"—the "Nansha Rising Sun" scenic belt, blending the excitement of sports with the promotion of local culture and tourism. Around the main venue, audiences enjoyed a series of performances rich in Lingnan flair: energetic dragon and lion dances filled the air with the beat of gongs and drums, while the Guangdong Music and Opera Troupe performed timeless classics such as "Stepping Higher and Higher" and "Rain Hitting the Banana Leaves," highlighting Guangzhou's spirited and graceful urban character.
