During the Spring Festival holiday in 2025, Qingyun Village, Xiaowangmiao Street, Fenghua District, Ningbo City was bustling with visitors. Tourists savored local delicacies in the ancient alleys while immersing themselves in the festive New Year atmosphere amid picturesque surroundings.

Qingyun Village boasts a rich cultural heritage spanning over 1,100 years. In recent years, the village has continuously invested funds in landscape enhancements, riverbank beautification, and the preservation of ancient architecture. With the village's transformation, residents have experienced a rise in their 'happiness index'.

Qingyun Village's transformation is closely tied to the ongoing 'Our Home' initiative. In recent years, the village has formed five volunteer service teams with the support of cultural auditoriums, new era civilization practice stations and other platforms, with a total of more than 100 volunteers.

Since 2024, faculty and students from Zhejiang Pharmaceutical Vocational University (Fenghua Campus) and other institutions have established workshops in Qingyun Village. Shao Lin, deputy director of the Department of Journalism and Communication of the School of Humanities and Arts of Ningbo Institute of Engineering, has been stationed in the village as a cultural envoy, promoting the integration of agriculture and cultural tourism.

In 2024, Qingyun Village's collective operating income reached approximately 2.37 million yuan, with villagers' per capita income surpassing 50,000 yuan. Today, a vision of a prosperous and picturesque future countryside is gradually unfolding in Qingyun Village. ( Text Chen Zhangsheng)
