Shortly after the Spring Festival holiday, the production workshops of Zhejiang Xiandao Precision Machinery Co., Ltd are filled with the roar of machines running at full capacity. Staff from State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company, equipped with infrared thermometers, moved between distribution rooms and equipment areas to inspect circuits for preventing potential hazards. “This automated production line has extremely high requirements for voltage stability. We must ensure everything is safe”, explained Yu Deren, a staff member from the company, to the enterprise’s electrical supervisor Yao Gong while recording data,. As a key enterprise in semiconductor equipment manufacturing, Zhejiang Xiandao Precision Machinery has witnessed a continuous surge in power demand since resuming operations. State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company launched its “Resumption Support” campaign in advance by dispatching teams to industrial parks, providing free power inspections and consultations for over 200 enterprises, including Zhejiang Xiandao. In order to meet unique power quality demands of high-precision manufacturers, the company tailored “customized solutions for each enterprise through utilizing technologies such as infrared thermography and load monitoring to precisely identify equipment risks,”. In distribution rooms of Zhejiang Xiandao, workers detected abnormal temperatures at a cable joint and promptly advised the enterprise to readjust its operational time to avoid peak hours. At the same time, they also optimized equipment operation modes. This action is expected to save nearly 10,000 Yuan in monthly electricity costs. Additionally, the power supply company also introduced an “Electricity Safety Package”, which includes safety manuals, energy-saving recommendations, and emergency contact cards. This action aims to help enterprises make production plan in a scientific way. “We not only identify risks but also focus on long-term power needs, such as evaluating circuit capacity for expand production lines, so as to ensure smooth operations in the future”, Yu Deren explained.

Shen Yiwei, head of Changshan Nate Sealing Products Co., Ltd., noted that the power company’s post-holiday support at the first time helped optimize their power usage structure, which boosted the efficiency of production lines by 15%. In the future, our company plans to deepen its “grid-based” service mechanism and uses smart meter data to monitor real-time power consumption trends and provide early risk warnings. At the same time, we will also promote “green energy plus energy efficiency diagnosis” services to help enterprises reduce costs and save energy.
