Since the beginning of spring, with the warming temperatures, various counties and districts in Lanzhou City have been taking advantage of the agricultural season and carrying out spring plowing in an orderly manner, leading to an increased demand for electricity in agricultural production. The State Grid Lanzhou Power Supply Company has reviewed the electricity consumption of agricultural production enterprises and farmers, conducting comprehensive inspections of power lines, transformers, motors, water pumps, and other facilities essential for spring farming to ensure timely identification and resolution of potential hazards. In 2025, the company will use a combination of "drone inspection + hazard management" for the inspection of power lines related to farmland, accurately identifying hazard locations. Inspection efficiency is three times higher than that of manual inspection methods.
During the spring plowing preparation period, the State Grid Lanzhou Power Supply Company has organized its employees to conduct special safety inspections for electricity usage by visiting villages and homes, checking customer-side lines and equipment for electrical safety hazards. They have responded quickly to the electricity needs of pumping stations and public water pumps, while also strengthening the renovation of line equipment to ensure safe and reliable electricity for spring plowing and irrigation. They have enhanced the application of technological means, strengthened equipment monitoring and operational maintenance, and utilized infrared temperature measurement and drone inspection methods, ensuring comprehensive detection of electrical hazards in power transmission lines, distribution stations, and irrigation facilities used in agricultural production, helping local villagers address electricity issues for both production and living, and supporting the development of local rural specialty industries.
