Recently, the State Grid Suixian Power Supply Company organized personnel to the fields to assess the electricity needs for spring farming and irrigation.
Since the beginning of spring, the State Grid Suixian Power Supply Company has prioritized a reliable power supply to support a bountiful harvest. Additionally, the company has implemented multiple measures to meet agricultural electricity demands, thereby laying a solid foundation for the summer grain harvest.
To address peak electricity demand during spring farming, the State Grid Suixian Power Supply Company has formed “Spring Farming and Irrigation Service Teams” centered around township power supply stations. These teams conducted on-site equipment inspections and assessed electricity needs in the fields. They utilized a combined manual and drone approach, with drones efficiently surveying agricultural power lines. Meanwhile, infrared thermography and partial discharge detection were used to identify potential risks. In addition, the live-line working teams carried out "zero-outage" connection operations during irrigation periods. This approach significantly reduces downtime from power line maintenance, ensuring uninterrupted irrigation for farmers.
To streamline electricity access for spring farming, the State Grid Suixian Power Supply Company has introduced a “Green Channel for Spring Farming and Irrigation Electricity”, providing online services for applications and payments. A strict 24/7 on-duty system ensures immediate response to emergencies. Moreover, company staff distributed leaflets and provided on-site guidance to promote electrical safety. Additionally, they developed customized "one-on-one" power solutions to meet farmers’ specific needs, ensuring a safe and reliable electricity supply for spring farming.
