On March 31, 2025, the 30th National Day of Education on Safety for Primary and Secondary School Students, “Begonia’s Wish” volunteers from State Grid Huai’an Power Supply Company visited Zhuba Middle School in Huai’an City to carry out a volunteer service activity themed “Electricity Safety Class: Escorting the Growth Path”, bringing students an engaging and informative electricity safety class.
Electricity Safety-Themed Classroom
In the class, combined with actual electricity usage scenarios in schools and families, volunteers explained common misunderstandings about safe electricity use through animated courseware demonstrations, interesting Q&A sessions, live demonstrations, and more. During the prize-winning Q&A session, students eagerly answered questions, creating a lively atmosphere.
The volunteers also brought electricity-themed picture books to the students, which combine the three pentads of each solar term in the 24 solar terms and traditional cultural knowledge of ancient poetry with the protection of power equipment, promotion of electricity knowledge, safety awareness, and related content. This was done by adopting a simple approach that allows students to learn practical knowledge in an enjoyable way.
A Lively Classroom
This safety education class integrated electricity safety knowledge into daily teaching, allowing students to enhance their safety awareness in a relaxed atmosphere. After class, many students said they would pay more attention to daily electricity safety in the future and share the knowledge they had learned with their families to ensure electricity safety together.
Next, State Grid Huai’an Power Supply Company will continue to carry out campus electricity safety awareness activities to promote safe electricity use knowledge, enabling more children to grow up healthily in a safe and stable electricity environment, and bolstering the “safety net” for protection.(Text/Picture by Xie Xintong)
