On April 1, the operation and maintenance personnel of the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company conducted inspections of the 1,000kV Changnan Line and 500kV Nanxiang Line in Silidian Town, Fangcheng County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, launching a wildfire prevention campaign. By combining human inspections, tech-driven surveillance, and public awareness efforts to protect power facilities, they made all-out efforts to safeguard the safety of the power grid.

As the Qingming Festival approaches, the risk of wildfires increases, posing potential risks to the safe operation of power facilities. The State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has proactively made early deployments and meticulously identified high-risk wildfire areas. Additionally, the company has rigorously implemented various effective measures to ensure the stable and uninterrupted operation of power lines and equipment during the Qingming Festival.

The State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has launched pre-holiday wildfire prevention awareness campaigns. Company staff have erected fire warning signs in key areas and hung banners in mountain villages and forests with high wildfire risks. These actions have enhanced local residents' awareness along routes prone to wildfires.

In addition, they have intensified line inspection efforts, employing drones for dynamic inspections to promptly address potential hazards. Comprehensive wildfire prevention measures for transmission and distribution lines have been undertaken, including clearing trees, flammable materials, and other combustibles. Additionally, they have enhanced the joint prevention mechanism.

By leveraging the wildfire prevention and control network, they enable fire information sharing, strengthen coordination between the government and enterprises, and promote collective prevention and response.

As of now, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has dispatched a total of 200 personnel deployments to Fangcheng County. They have set up 11 fire warning signs in areas prone to wildfires, hung 13 promotional banners along key routes, and distributed more than 500 wildfire prevention brochures.

Looking ahead, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company will continue to enhance precise inspections of key areas and important power lines. Meanwhile, it will earnestly investigate and rectify potential line hazards to ensure the safe operation of the power grid during the holidays.
