Through global recruitment, the center has assembled an elite international research team, comprising over 10 academicians, more than 100 senior industry experts, more than 20 overseas specialists, and over 1,000 core researchers. In total, it has a team of over 5,000 innovative professionals spanning the entire industrial chain. The center has achieved major breakthroughs in areas such as bovine sex-sorting technology, lactoferrin preparation, and probiotic encapsulation, reaching international leadership or pioneering achievements in certain fields.

He Jian, General Manager of the National Dairy Technology Innovation Center, introduced that the Phase II project will focus on key segments across the entire dairy industry chain. It aims to reduce breeding costs at the source, enhance the overall value of dairy cows, and safeguard China’s milk supply. The project will also establish a pilot verification base for intelligent, flexible deep processing in the dairy industry, support the domestic development of key raw materials like lactoferrin, and develop technologies for the efficient utilization of milk proteins tailored to Chinese dietary habits.

In addition, the Phase II project will deeply integrate intelligent digital technologies, introducing cutting-edge innovations such as AI and digital twin technology to lay a strong foundation for the future development of the dairy industry.
