State Grid Huanggang Youth Volunteers and Foreign Teacher Co-Host Environmental Awareness Class

Recently, as the 56th “World Earth Day” approached, youth volunteers from State Grid Huanggang Power Supply Company, together with Nancy, a foreign teacher from Yifeng Forest International Kindergarten, gave the children an environmental protection class with the theme of "Cherish the Earth, Save Energy," guiding the children to establish the awareness of energy conservation and environmental protection.

During the class, the youth volunteers used animated films, picture books, and other materials to explain the origin and development of “World Earth Day,” introduced the concepts of low-carbon environmental protection, and popularized various new energy power generation forms such as photovoltaic, wind, and tidal power. They also shared practical tips on protecting the ecological environment, encouraging the children to start taking action now, from themselves, to take conscious actions to care for the environment and safeguard the Earth.

It is understood that this marks the volunteers' second collaborative teaching session with foreign teacher Nancy. To ensure the lesson’s effectiveness, the volunteers pre-coordinated with Nancy to design the curriculum and activities. Through edutainment approaches, they popularized energy conservation knowledge, vividly sparking the children's learning enthusiasm.
