On April 26, the 2025 Suzhou Global Investment Promotion Conference, themed "Invest in Suzhou, Win the Future," was held, with 417 projects signed collectively, representing a total investment of 341.57 billion yuan.
The conference attracted over 1,200 global business leaders, including representatives from Fortune 500 companies, China’s top 500 enterprises, top five industry-leading multinational corporations, central state-owned enterprises, renowned private companies, and global unicorn enterprises.
At the Scene
Governor Xu Kunlin of Jiangsu Province extended a warm welcome to domestic and international guests, expressing gratitude to friends from all sectors who have long supported Jiangsu and Suzhou’s development. As a city where traditional culture and modern civilization intertwine — much like "double-sided embroidery" — Suzhou invites more enterprises to establish operations, invest, and share in a mutually prosperous future.
At the Conference Venue
Liu Xiaotao, Standing Committee Member of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, delivered a keynote address, promoting Suzhou’s vision and expressing anticipation for global partnerships to "scale new heights in technological innovation, ride the wave of industrial advancement, and share open innovation together."
Launch Ceremony
The conference also launched the Global Industrial Innovation Partnership Program, granting official accreditation to the Kunshan Economic Development Zone and associated corporate research institutes.
Signing Ceremony
Suzhou’s industrial output reaches 4.7 trillion yuan, supported by six national advanced manufacturing clusters and 160,000 industrial enterprises. To date, the city has attracted over 19,000 foreign-invested enterprises, with 178 Fortune Global 500 companies establishing nearly 500 projects in Suzhou. The cumulative utilized foreign capital exceeds USD 167 billion, ranking first in Jiangsu Province and among the top nationwide.
