Nanyang City, Henan Province Conducts Special Inspection of Public Charging Facilities

On May 6th, State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company conducted inspections at the Longquan Park public charging station in Fangcheng County. Technicians examined the charger’s electrical connections, insulation performance, and grounding protection, while also inspecting supporting facilities including power supply lines and distribution cabinets to ensure safety and reliability throughout the entire charging system.

As electric vehicles (EVs) become increasingly popular among residents, State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has taken measures to ensure safe and convenient charging for EV users. Before and during the International Labor Day holiday, the company deployed technicians, equipped with infrared thermometers, grounding resistance testers, and other specialized equipment, to perform comprehensive inspections at all public charging stations under its management.

This special operation covered all State Grid-operated public charging stations in Fangcheng County, including key areas such as transportation hubs, large supermarkets, residential communities, and tourist attractions.

Furthermore, State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has established emergency repair teams, equipped with sufficient spare parts and implementing a duty system to ensure immediate response to any charging facility malfunctions or abnormalities, thereby minimizing the impact on users’ charging needs.
