Recently, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power jointly held an integration exchange meeting on the “Power Supply Service + Township Grid” model with the People’s Government of Huangbiao Township to further improve the quality of local power supply services.
The meeting featured a vibrant atmosphere as staff demonstrated the "Zhejiang Electric Power Xiaoyun" intelligent service platform. This digital tool integrates various functions such as electricity bill inquiries, online fault reporting, and electricity policy consultation. Combined with the local power supply service hotline, it forms a comprehensive integrated online and offline service system. On-site township grid workers explored features such as real-time power monitoring and abnormal usage alerts.
"Previously, power outage notifications were primarily distributed through announcements or text messages, which sometimes failed to reach elderly residents or those unfamiliar with mobile devices. Now, through our township grid workers, we can ensure accurate information delivery to every household," explained the director of the Xiangdong Power Supply Station in Xiangshan.
To address communication challenges in rural areas, the staff of State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power, together with township grid workers, identified and organized information on vulnerable groups such as the elderly and the disabled, creating special service records. Before planned outages, they coordinate with grid workers to notify households and provide backup power equipment for users with special needs.
The company has also introduced a “Grid-Based Power Service Package” containing customized items such as canvas bags and aprons printed with the 24-hour service hotline. Local community staff praised these as both practical and promotional tools.
Looking ahead, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power will continue to deepen the integration of power services with township grid systems by establishing neighborhood power stations and training “grid power assistants” to bridge the final gap in service delivery.
