Recently, persistent high temperatures and drought conditions have posed severe challenges to agricultural production. State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company activated emergency response plans, formed a drought-resistance power supply task force, and implemented multiple measures to ensure reliable electricity for drought relief.
Leveraging the “Village-Grid Co-Construction” platform, the company has established a three-level power safety management system. It implements grid-based zoning and assigns area-specific responsibilities for farmland wells, promptly eliminating equipment defects and resolving issues to ensure power safety. Additionally, staff conducted door-to-door visits to quickly identify actual power demand for drought-resistance water pumping, dispatched personnel for on-site assessments, opened green channels for expedited service, streamlined application procedures, and arranged dedicated personnel to provide one-on-one support. Through phone calls, text messages, and other methods, the company updated farmers on the status of their applications, ensuring efficient and user-friendly access to electricity.
Staff also conducted inspections of farmland wells, assessed current power usage, gathered electricity demand data, and ensured precise matching of power resource allocation with irrigation needs.
Looking ahead, State Grid Nanyang will continue monitoring background data, analyze power load trends, proactively engage with large-scale agricultural growers, and further optimize service measures. With a strong sense of responsibility and mission, the company remains committed to ensuring a stable power supply for agricultural production during drought conditions.
